About Me

Design pushes me to be more creative. Rather than focusing on one branch of graphic design, I have developed a good foundation in all aspects. I feel that this helps me to be more flexible and confident as a designer. Two of my biggest fans are my cats, Mystique and Totoro, who love to sit on my laptop to be closer to my work.

In my spare time, I watch a lot of Netflix and Crunchyroll. I also have recently built my own PC, although I tend to play on a console with my sister. Currently, we are playing Ark: Survival, because dinos. I have recently taken up running and golfing as some of my hobbies.

Don’t challenge me to ping-pong because I have my own table!

CV

Education

I have a Design Studies Diploma and a Bachelor of Design from MacEwan University.

I also have a certificate in Web Design & Development from MacEwan University.

Experience

I am currently working at NAIT (2021) and have been working there since May 2019. I am unable to share the work that I’ve done with them; however, I can say that I’ve created a lot of cool animations in Vyond!

Awards

My poster series “Beautiful” won the MacEwan Book of the Year Creative Award in 2018.

My brand identity '‘Work it” was chosen for the MacEwan Design Portfolio Show in 2020.

Focus

I chose not to focus on one specific area of design because they all complement each other. A better understanding of all areas (even outside of design) helps me to collaborate with people who may be more specialized in those areas. It also enables me to think more creatively.
